Two Strangers In A Bar Lyrics — Gord Bamford

On a back-wall mirror
It was whiskey clear
She was havin' some fun
Out with a friend
Out of town weekend
Just a girl on the run
And that old number 7 kept doing its thing
And by midnight I was moving her way

I guess you never know
Where loves gonna grow
Or where you might be when it sparks
Yeah a match made in heaven
A couple honky-tonk hearts
Collided that night
In the dark
Two strangers in a bar
Two strangers in a bar

We went from hello
What's your name
Can I buy you a round
Hanging out every night
Burning candlelight
To where we are right now
Staring forever right in the eyes
Making plans for the rest of our lives

I guess you never know
Where loves gonna grow
Or where you might be when it sparks
Yeah a match made in heaven
A couple honky-tonk hearts
Collided that night
In the dark
Two strangers in a bar
Two strangers in a bar

I guess you never know
Where loves gonna grow
Or where you might be when it sparks
Just a match made in heaven
A couple honky-tonk hearts
Collided that night
In the dark
Two strangers in a bar
Two strangers in a bar
Two strangers in a bar
Two strangers in a bar

On a back-wall mirror
It was whiskey clear
She was havin' some fun
