Thieves Of The Cloth Lyrics — Incantation

Stand before
Your congregation

Forsaken your god
Again and again

Wear the cloth
To cover your guilt
The sins you possess
The ones you repressed

Path of priesthood
Perversion and greed
Pardoned transgressors
A den of thieves

A god
Of your make believe
How weak of the mind
To follow such lies

A god
Of your make believe
Naïve are these sheep
Slaves to a lie

Forgive me father
Continue in sin
Clear conscience of mind
All is forgiven
