Supporting Your Unravelling Lyrics — Lisa Mitchell

It wasn't always this colour
It used to be lighter
When you go swimming in Dhungalla
Everything changes

I used to know you
You used to know me
Now I see we were
Living shakey
Foundations
My society
Needs pulling out from the roots

There's no word
For nature
In Noongar language
Another western madness
Welcome to rehab

I used to know you
You used to know me
Now I see we were
Living shakey
Foundations
My society
Needs pulling out from the roots

We're all coming down
From a very overgrown sense of survival
I recommend
Supporting your unravelling
And they may be small
Everyday offerings
Take more food with you than you need
You never know when someone might need it

It wasn't always this colour
It used to be lighter
When you go swimming in Dhungalla
Everything changes
