Giving Is Getting Lyrics — Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen

There's a lot to like about christmas like spending time with friends
Baking things and triming trees and getting lots of presents
But the best thing about christmas is the feeling that you get
When you give your loved ones something they never will forget
Like a hand-made card, a puppy dog or a really great CD
It's the spirit of giving that makes you feel happy

Chorus:
It's better to give give give than to recieve
It's better to give give give than to recieve
Cos when your giving you are getting the coolest gift of all
Appreciation and love
When you take time to consider all the gifts you have
The greatest one is your family and your friends from all around
So we'd like to take this occasion to let them know we care
We wrap a gift like a candlestick or some cookies we can share
Like some pot pourri, a bonzai tree or home-made pottery
It's the spirit of giving that makes you feel happy

Chorus:
It's better to give give give than to recieve
It's better to give give give than to recieve
Cos when your giving you are getting the coolest gift of all
Appreciation and love
Appreciation and love
