The Worst Lyrics — The Cadillac Three

I see the devil in your eyes
Or is it my reflection? Yeah
Girl, your holy rollin' fire
Blowin' smoke in my direction, yeah

And I'm scared, but I kiss ya
Lord knows I can't resist ya
And I might not make it out alive, but that's alright

'Cause if the worst is yet to come, I'm in trouble
'Cause you burn like desert sun and whiskey doubles
You're the best I never had
So mad in love, if I got it this bad
I hope the worst is yet to come (Yeah)

I light my cigarette
You take it and you steal a drag (Yeah)
You slip off that dress
And take it slow real fast (sh*t)

And my head is spinnin'
And it's just the beginnin'
Of the end of my last bit of innocence

'Cause if the worst is yet to come, I'm in trouble
'Cause you burn like desert sun and whiskey doubles
You're the best I never had
So mad in love, if I got it this bad
I hope the worst is yet to come (Yeah)

'Cause if the worst is yet to come, I'm in trouble
'Cause you burn like desert sun and whiskey doubles
You're the best I never had
So mad in love, if I got it this bad
I hope the worst is yet to come

Oh, the worst is yet to come, yeah
