Mechanic Again Comes To The Rescue

Along with such iconic fighters as Fast and Furious, movies about the Mechanic, too, won its niche. It's quite the same type of films, each of which is decorated by the presence of different actors and a high enough budget. Now there is one piece of news: the next, already the fifth, part is to start shooting with a new cast. One of the new characters of the series will be beautiful Jessica Alba, who hasn't been shining on the Hollywood screens for long. Perhaps this is her new chance to show her talent again in the big movie. 

Big comeback 

Creators cannot deny the huge amount of pathos: their new creation they have already dubbed as Resurrection. However, concerning the name, fans of the franchise have responded with a laugh about what is happening. It would be much more logical would to name the movie coarser, but not in such a stilted word or phrase, and a reference to something higher that does not allow us to fully integrate into the plot. As with the previous parts, this movie will be noisy, fast, energetic and very cash (though its budget is high enough). Alba's role in the movie is transparent enough: a pretty girl with the strong man. The main role is still for the star of some of previous parts Jason Statham, who has become the face of this series along with Vin Diesel, so as for his previous works. Vin, in addition to his acting here, is also a producer of 5 latest films. Jason’s type has not made him an actor of one role, but made all his roles alike one another (take any movie with him and you’ll see the same poker face when he kills another guy). However, we can only say that he had found the niche, which isn't anything bad.

Too high 

This film is easy enough to get into the top summer movies; at least it will work exactly for its money. Viewers are ready for the hot-day-visit to the cinema: it will be something spirited and not very memorable, not with particularly deep morality, but entertaining and spectacular (but could it be more spectacular that a flight of a super car between two skyscrapers in 7th part?). Another disadvantage is the obvious desire for scriptwriters and directors in pursuit of grossing film (after the wealthiest 7th part with USD 1.5 billion). 1-6 parts had no such amazing success, but consistently collected their money at the box office: many even joke that it was easier to make a series. We believe that for the series writers simply do not have enough money for Jason’s or Diesel’s fee. Jessica's attraction to shooting also became a kind of a tactical move: for a beautiful picture (given that the girl is more than attractive) many men would be happy to watch this movie at least once in a movie theater, and none of the creators do need anything more.
