This movie is based on real events and depicts two fellows, who are selling arms to Pentagon, landing on their USD 300+ million budget, being 25+ years old guys. They are portrayed by already very fat Jonah Hill and Miles Teller. This motion picture has already collected USD 24+ million, while having a budget of 40 M and this is pretty serious claim for a success, if to collect this in one week, like this film did.
This piece has one of the biggest soundtracks of the past time in quality and quantity: 30+ songs. Several of them nave no lyrics, as they are instrumental. Almost every song depicts recklessness of the movie, like The Who’s or Pitbull’s works. Several music works from here are eternal or just long-lasting. Amongst them, you can find: Everybody Knows by Leonard Cohen, Neil Diamond’s original Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon, and Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith. Several other loud names include Iggy Pop, Pink Floyd, 50 Cent, Haddaway, Beastie Boys, House of Pain, and Dean Martin. A hell of a team, we must say! They know their job and most of the time they write impressive lyrics.
For whom is it? For lovers of low-grade humor by Mr. Jonah Hill and for those, who considers war a big planetary joke.
