The Woman With A Mop

The tendency to light the stories of great women, who has revolutionized the history, continues. Only now it is not affected by female politicians or women astronauts, fashion designers, fighters, now it is a simple story of a woman. She is so usual but pretty and young middle-aged woman, whose life is full of drama, inherent to lots of other women. The main role in the new film "Joy" was played by Jennifer Lawrence. Of course, she is familiar mostly by recent film "The Hunger Games", but Miss Lawrence decided to take everything from life. Currently, Lawrence is one of the most successful and perspective actresses. Not surprisingly, taking her talent into account!

New genre

"Joy" is, above all, the drama. This is a story of success, which was led through a lot of defeats. The main character is Joy, in whose honor the movie was named. Now she is known as the inventor of such necessary things as a mop with a separate spin (Wonder Mop) and hangers for the closet. It may seem comical, because these things are not in the first necessity. However, in light of the Joy’s history it was almost a salvation. Housework, family support, and caring for cleanliness show that the order in the house is no less significant than the same order in the live. Lawrence was able to convey all the amazing experiences of the heroine, her ups and, of course, downs, and her, seemed to be endless, path to the top. Drama does not mean tragedy. The film has sad moments but you had better take it as a motivation.

Negative opinion

Some critics say that the movie is far from perfection. They see it as something that is literally overflowing with the repeats. Perhaps the director's move was to convey the main idea to the audience, but critics are not tuned rosy. Among the cast we also see Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper (Bradley already does the second film with Lawrence after the “Serena” – does this mean something between them two?). In fact, the actors squeeze the most out of their roles – we can see it even in the trailer of the film. Lawrence succeeds in strong characters, so she just goes straight to her goal. Perhaps she hears the failures’ prospects too often, but it does not prevent her from achieving her main aim. Another line of the film is communication with Joy’s mother, who experienced similar problems. She didn't manage to realize her potential, so Joy is under this pressure also. The most poignant scene is, probably, when Joy sees her mother in a dream. Well, enough spoilers! The premiere is coming at the very Christmas day.
