About "Harold and the Purple Crayon" Soundtrack (August, 2024).
Summary of the Movie
Harold and the Purple Crayon is a delightful 2024 adaptation helmed by director Carlos Saldanha. A whimsical treatment to Crockett Johnson's children's classic book, this story looks at an adult Harold, played by Zachary Levi, who has been gifted with magic: to draw anything his mind can think of with his ever-ready purple crayon.
As he makes a pass from his whimsical world of books into the real one, Harold meets humorous and daunting circumstances. The main action picks up when the power of the crayon ends up in the wrong hands, pushing Harold with his friends to wield their imaginations to rescue the worlds. The main character is played by Zachary Levi, with the voice of Moose being done by Lil Rel Howery, the voice of Mel by Benjamin Bottani, the voice of Terry by Zooey Deschanel, Jemaine Clement as Gary, and Tanya Reynolds playing Porcupine. This animated comic family fantasy adventure takes viewers on a flight of fantasy that is mesmerizing to all age groups.
The film, produced by Columbia Pictures and Davis Entertainment, is set to be released on August 2, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
Soundtrack Highlights.
The soundtrack to Harold and the Purple Crayon (2024) is eclectic and caters to a blend with the notion of the film's whimsy and inventiveness. The original score for the movie was composed by Batu Sener, seamlessly setting up a soundscape with classical soundtracks to contemporary tracks. Within the same ranks as that song comes the usage of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," featured in the trailer for some nostalgia and feel-good motivation. The soundtrack has a wide variety of songs played on it, including: Batz "Take It," Apollo 440 "Stop The Rock," and FITZ "Spaceman," which added the latest pop and rock forms to old classical music and gave an excellent blend. Classical fans won't be left out either with Beethoven's "Bagatelle No. 25 in A Minor (Für Elise)" and Delibes "The Flower Duet" from Lakmé and Debussy' "Arabesque No. 1 in E Major". Old favorites like "Mary Had A Little Lamb", "Chopsticks" and much more add some fun and Franz Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C-sharp Minor" adds drama. Danger Twins' fresh track "Never Gonna Stop" and Jordy Searcy and Boots Ottestad's "Colors" add onto the rest of the contemporary music featured in the soundtrack, guaranteeing the presence of a charged audible atmosphere.July, 30th 2024
