Today Is The Day Lyrics – Tim Myers

Today Is The Day Text

---

VERSE 1-
The golden hue
Shifting my point of view
I hear a voice
As the world begins to change
It is calling my name
I am free
Here is the right place to be
The moment is now
Leave everything behind
Now is the right time
CHORUS-
Today is the day
Light up the way
Lost in the moment
There is nothing left to say
Today is the day
Light up the way
I am moving forward
There is not a better day, today
VERSE 2-
Incomplete, I have walked these dead end streets
Like a particle you bend me till I break
My heart is awake
Autumn trees losing their autumn leaves
Life's colors fade lets live before we die
Let's breathe a new life
CHORUS-
Today is the day
Light up the way
Lost in the moment
There is nothing left to say
Today is the day
Light up the way
I am moving forward
There is not a better day, today
BRIDGE-
Look at the starlight in the sky
The colors of the heavens painted
It makes us wonder why
The sound of the ocean on the shore
The worlds last beautiful sonnets
What are they there for?
CHORUS-
Today is the day
Light up the way
Lost in the moment
There is nothing left to say
Today is the day
Light up the way
I am moving forward
There is not a better day, today
