Under Pressure Lyrics – Queen

It is definitely one of the most outstanding music pieces of this soundtrack and is one of the most beloved songs ever done by Queen. Did you know that this song was performed not only by Queen’s Freddie Mercury but also by David Bowie? He was also a co-author of this song along with the band and co-producer (when the main producer was Freddie). Despite the fact that Mr. Bowie wasn't very much loved when he was alive and he isn't truly loved now after he is dead, he did lots of gorgeous things that are very memorable and we will not have enough space on our site to describe them all. This is one of the most popular things done by Queen ever. The part of David Bowie in addition to being writer and producer is also concluded in backing vocals, playing on synthesizer, hand clapping, and finger snapping. At the beginning of 2000nds, the bass line was emphasized as one of the best in the pop music ever. A song has been included in the various Halls of Fame and named as one of the best singles in the pop direction ever. If not ever, then of at least of 1980ies. It was released in October 1981 and was included on their album 'Hot Space'. This song was a result of the jam session of the band with the second creator, Bowie. It has the hugest legacy, even Michael Jackson acknowledged that a song had an outstanding influence on his entire album 'Thriller'. In addition to that, a piece was many times covered, was in rotations, and it had top positions in various charts including place #1 in Austria, Denmark, and in Europe generally. The end-of-year positions of it were not too perfect, but maybe it was not adopted yet as the outstanding piece in 1982 when the end of year's positions were created. The song mainly depicts the horrors of our world. It has a lot of pictures and on the unemployment of the Great Depression when over two million people just in the USA lost their jobs. It also has inserts from other horrors of the modern society like clashes, police fights, controversy in the opinions that lead to wars, exploding bridges and so on. In addition to the sophistication of this thing, it had influenced others, as well as many creations by 'Queen' band. Generally speaking, it had the important influence on developments of rock genre of the 1980ies, and it was sung in different languages including Spanish and French. The legacy doesn't stop from the 1980ies it continues through the decades to our days. It is broadly used in the media, in events, in the soundtrack to the films, and in personal performances of various beginning and professional artists on YouTube. Despite the fact that it wasn't rated platinum – only gold and silver – there are not that many songs that have the same influence as this piece has. We are talking not only about the sophisticated lyrics, but the way of singing and the sequence of notes that is very recognizable.
