Try Everything Lyrics – Shakira

Soundtrack: Zootopia Lyrics
Try Everything Text
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh

I messed up tonight, I lost another fight
I still mess up but I'll just start again
I keep falling down, I keep on hitting the ground
I always get up now to see what's next

Birds don't just fly, they fall down and get up
Nobody learns without getting it wrong

I won't give up, no I won't give in
Till I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave, I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
I won't give up, no I won't give in
Til I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave, I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Try everything
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Try everything
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Try everything
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh

Look at how far you've come, you filled your heart with love
Baby you've done enough, take a deep breath
Don't beat yourself up, don't need to run so fast
Sometimes we come last, but we did our best

I won't give up, no I won't give in
Til I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave, I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
I won't give up, no I won't give in
Til I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave, I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail

I'll keep on making those new mistakes
I'll keep on making them every day
Those new mistakes

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Try everything
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Try everything
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh
Try everything
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohh

Try everything

Zootopia

Soundtrack Lyrics for Movie, 2016

Track Listing

December, 23rd 2024
The movie revolves around Judy Hopps, a rabbit who is told she cannot become a police officer in Zootopia due to the lack of rabbit police officers. Despite graduating top of her class, Judy is excluded from handling top-priority missing predator cases and assigned to parking duty by Chief Bogo. Despite doubting her potential, Judy perseveres and cracks the main case of missing predators and dissolves the prey-supremacist conspiracy created by Bellwether. The movie emphasizes the importance of never giving up and always getting back up. She performed with own pleasant saturated voice, that cannot be confused with any other, an easy melody, which is one of the lead for a new cartoon named Zootopia. In the video, she appears as an animated gazelle with wide hips and white curls. She sang lyrical, but at the same time motivating, melody of the pop genre lasting 3:22. Very light, as the animated film itself, the most anticipated premiere of 2016, with a lot of humor.

Written for Disney’s animated feature *Zootopia*, the song parallels the movie's central themes of breaking stereotypes and embracing resilience. It reflects the journey of Judy Hopps, a rabbit from Bunnyburrow who aspires to defy societal expectations by becoming the first bunny police officer in Zootopia. The song's composition combines uplifting pop elements with layered instrumentation, including strings and electronic beats, which elevate its inspirational tone. Shakira’s powerful vocal delivery encapsulates determination and optimism, resonating with audiences of all ages. The lyrics emphasize that failure is a natural step toward success, encapsulated in lines like "Birds don't just fly, they fall down and get up."

Key Imagery and Metaphors

The refrain's repetition of "Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh" symbolizes universal emotions of hope and renewal, while the pre-chorus delivers a poignant metaphor: "Birds don't just fly, they fall down and get up."
