Lights in the Dark Lyrics – Michael Silversher & Patty Silversher

Lights in the Dark Text

---

[Mother]

(Good night, Pajanimals. Time for lights out.)

[Apollo]

Now we're snuggled in our bed
Our hugs are hugged and our stories read
But still there's something not so right
I'm afraid of the dark at night

(So, Cowbella)

What do you do when the dark is scaring you?

[Cowbella]

I close my eyes by the light of the moona
She helps me to dream, my friend, la luna
And in that dream I am the cow
That made the big jump over her somehow
The moon is my light in the dark for me

[Apollo]

(So, Squacky--)

What do you do when the dark is scaring you?

[Squacky]

My night light, Brighty's, right next to me
I put my hand up close for Brighty to see
My hand grows bigger where the shadows fall
Bouncin' and dancin' across the wall
And then I fall asleep
My night light's the light in the dark for me

[Apollo]

(So Sweetpea Sue)

What do you do when the dark is scaring you?

[Sweetpea Sue]

(Well...)

I like the dark
When it's dark at night
There's twinkling stars and city lights
Moonbeams beaming oh so bright
And down the hall, there's an itty bitty light
So many lights for us to see
I like the dark, it comforts me

[Apollo]

Well, thank you, friends, for helping me
I'm not as scared as I used to be
You showed me the darkness has a light
To help me go to sleep at night
Good night
Good night.

[Squacky]

(Nighty night, Brighty!)
